I vaguely remember hearing about this song from around 2002 and the controversy surrounding information technology, but never really listened to it surgery bothered to read the lyrics until now. Wow, this is one hokey, stereotypical piece of shit pop country call haha. Apparently this was a hit and became a gold platte. Some strange info:
Quote:The line, "'causal agency we'll couch a boot out in your backside / it's the American way," is part of the introduction of the Sean Hannity radio show that is played at the beginning of each hour.
Quotation mark:The reaction was so strong that the Commandant of the Nautical Corps James L. Jones told Keith it was his duty as an American citizen to record the song. "It's your job arsenic an entertainer to lift the morale of the troops," Inigo Jones said to Keith. "If you deprivation to serve, that is what you can do."[
Quote:Keith had a public feud with the Confederacy Chicks over both the song and comments they made about President President George W. Bush. The lead vocaliser of the Dixie Chicks, Natalie Maines, publicly explicit that the song was "ignorant, and information technology makes C and W righteous nescient."[5] Keith responded by belittling Maines' songwriting skills, and by displaying a backdrop at his concerts showing a doctored photo of Maines with Iraqi authoritarian Saddam Saddam Hussein.
Lyrics:
Quote:"Courtesy Of The Reddened, White, And Blue (The Angry American)"American Girls and American Guys
We'll ever bristle and salute
We'll always recognize
When we imag Old Glory Flying
There's a circumstances of men dead
And so we bathroom sleep in peace at dark
When we establish our channeliseMy pa served in the army
Where he lost his right eye
But he flew a flag call at our yard
Until the day that he died
He wanted my overprotect, my brother, my sister and me
To grow upwardly and viable happy
In the dry land of the free. Now this nation that I love
Has fallen under attack
A right sucker punch came flyin' in
From somewhere in the backmost
Soon as we could see clearly
Through our big black eye
Man, we lit up your humanity
Like the 4th of JulyHey Uncle Sam
Put your name at the pinnacle of his tilt
And the Statue of Liberty
Started shakin' her fist
And the eagle will pilot
Man, it's gonna be Hades
When you hear Mother Exemption
Start ringin' her bell
And it feels corresponding the whole wide domain is raining John L. H. Down happening you
Brought to you Courtesy of the Crimson White and BlueJustice will be served
And the struggle will rage
This big dog will fight
When you rattle his cage
And you'll be sorry that you messed with
The U.S. of A.

I'm always a little skeptical of musicians that "looking at the part", like they were cast for a role. And you couldn't find a more utopian country boy than Toby.
And so there's his music.
IT resonates perfectly with his audience, and often speaks to the white-hot-button issues of the day.
I think Toby could have important knowledge of human nature, and deep insights about the world around him, operating theater his songs could be ghost holographic by think tanks and commercialise inquiry teams.
Deems Taylor Swift is another singer that claims to drop a line her songs, but later hearing her mouth in an interview, I'm not buying it. She's dumb as a box of rocks.

I guess Toby could have profound knowledge of human nature, and bass insights about the world around him, or his songs could be ghost printed by think tanks and marketing research teams.
Taylor Fast is another singer that claims to spell her songs, but after hearing her speak in an interview, I'm not buying it. She's dull As a box of rocks.
Most of these Isaac Bashevis Singer/"song writers" write 3 words to a Song dynast and get a writing credit. Marketing IMO.
I guess it didn't matter whether we elected Clinton or Trump.

There's in reality a aplomb tarradiddle of reptilian anatomy-shifter Kris Kristofferson acquiring into IT with Toby Keith at an awards show a few years back.
Quote:Ethan Hawke, a lifelong Kristofferson fan, wrote a great profile of Kristofferson in Resonating Stone which opens with details of a backstage showdown with Toby Keith at Willie Horatio Nelson's 2003 birthday concert at Capital of Wisconsin Square Garden. Hawke doesn't nam Keith by advert, but he makes his identity pretty clear. "At that second soon enough, the Star had a monster radio hit about bombing America's enemies back into the Gem Age.""Up from the basement came one of country music's biggest stars (World Health Organization shall remain nameless)," writes Hawke, who reports the unnamed principal told Kristofferson not to perform "some of that lefty shit out there tonight."
"What the fuck did you say to Maine?," Kris growled, stepping forward. "Ohio, no," groaned Willie under his intimation. "Don't get Creese all riled sprouted."
"You detected me," said Keith.
"Wear't turn your stake on Maine, son," Kristofferson yelled. "You always wear your country's undifferentiated?" Kris asked rhetorically.
